A little Rose Garden somewhat literally picked from my own yellow roses themselves.

I’d been wanting to draw out some rather large roses using photos I had taken of my own yellow roses….my favorite…and finally, my golden beauties have a permanent place in the cut garden of the craft world.

 

 

 

I took on a personal challenge to ‘trace’ the flowers and leaves to create the Rose Garden kit for today’s One Day Monday Summer Freebie. I love the idea of a big petally (yeah, it’s a word) flower on a page–especially white on white, of course. ;)

For the rest of the page, I used Juniper SM for the title, Tags A La Carte with words from Happiness Captured, and layered them with a yellow and white striped border from Borderlines. At the bottom, I used a date stamp from Today, trimmed it and placed it at the bottom.

Keeping it simple and getting it done. :)
