Today’s the day! It’s actual birthday of KBS!

party. party. party.

I don’t think I’ll have another ‘electric’ day like I did ten years ago, and that’s just fine with me. There’s enough electricity in the air with  the company of all of you and some fabulous designers, like we have today. :)

But first, just a little reminder that today is the final day of the sale (see Saturday’s post for details).

Now, today we have the super talented, Miss Sarah Zayas, as our party guest today! This girl…oh boy do I love her stuff!

Take a look at what she’s sharing with us today.

 

 

 

 

The title is ah-maaaazing! love the use of the Denali stamps with the homes from Home. And the color choices? Oh ya. And let’s not forget about accenting that whole left side with stamped sentiments. Absolute perfection!

Here’s what Sarah has to say:

I’m so thrilled to be joining the Kerri Bradford Studio birthday celebration!! To celebrate I thought I’d make a simple and straightforward TN design that could be easily replicated with any Kerri Bradford stamps (there are plenty of alpha and phrase stamp options to choose from in the KBS shop!)  Here, I am using the Denali alpha and Home stamps and I’m documenting a 3×4 photo of me, my husband, and our daughter that I snapped one morning when we were watching our church service.  

I first stamped out the alphas, filling in areas to the left and right of “feels like” with the cute house stamps and then I spaced out the alphas for “Home” so I could stamp some hearts in between the letters.  The grid paper helped me to line up all of my letters, but other than that I didn’t take any special steps to measure anything out. The houses were a nice filler because I could stamp as many as I needed to fill in the gaps.  I knew I wanted to use as many of the phrases from the ‘Home’ stamp set as possible, so once I had adhered my photo down I started filling in the spaces above and below the photo with the sweet sentiments.  I love how the sentiments frame the photo.  

There you have it, just something simple, but I think the clean look of the alphas and phrase stamps definitely help to highlight the photo.  Thanks for taking a look and Happy Birthday to the Kerri Bradford shop!
