It goes without saying, I’ve been incredibly blessed to get to do what I do. Not only do I get to work at home in the most comfortable clothes ever (haha), and not only have I ‘met’ so many wonderful people–too many to count, but I have had the most amazing women on my creative team over the years….and guests too!

There’s nothing like seeing your creations come to life at the hands of another person. I’m always in awe, whether it’s someone posting here specifically for KBS or any of you sharing your loveliness with some KBS goodies. You have no idea what it does to this girl’s soul.

And today, we have Miss Sheree sharing her talents with us using some of the newest stamps. Again…awe.

Okay, the year in the month half circle…brilliant! And so love the look of the tall skinny letters to make a flight tag with the reinforcement and Today circle. Oh…yeah. Marvelous page!

FYI, the second order (preorder) of Year Round is half gone already! So if you had a hankerin’ for it in the next available batch, now would be the time to get it. :)

Alright then, here’s Sheree to tell us more and show us more in a video!

I was so excited to use these fun stamps!  The Juniper XL is such a great size and I knew straight away that I wanted to use them to create a title tag on this layout.

I cut a grid journaling card down a little and punched a decorative border across the bottom.  I layered the tab and circular “today” stamps from the Year Round stamp set together at the top of the tag, then stamped “TAS” (which is short for Tasmania) in the middle.   I also made another plain tag to tuck under the main photo and stamped it with the same tab stamp.  This tag will allow for extra journaling or another photo to be added later.

Next to the top right photo I used the curved “April” and “2020” stamps from the Year Round stamp set to add the date.  I love the curved design!

I stamped a selection of phrases from the Block of Somewhere stamp set onto white cardstock along with the word “currently” from Year Round, then cut them all out ready to use.  These were positioned above the square picture and under the main photo.

At the top and bottom of the page design I used a long stamp from the Borderlines stamp set.  Again I stamped the design onto white cardstock and cut them out to use as an embellishment.

Once everything was in place I added lots of sewing machine stitching across all the stamped elements and my journaling to add some lovely texture and my layout was done.
