It’s another exciting day here in Bradford Land.

Today, I’m giving away my favorite tools!

 

 

Last year, on a quest for a good adhesive, I came a cross some info by Jennifer McGuire. This girl is the queen of all things stamping and an absolute darling individual on top of that.  She mentioned the Kokuyo dot liner and it is fantastic! So I’ve got a tape runner and some refills to keep you good and stocked for a while.

Next up, is a slot punch, or lanyard hole punch, that I absolutely looooove for making my own tags! And to the right of the slot punch is a Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, because hello, little staples are the cutest.

On the next row, I have a set of my favorite new stamps–Outnumbered TWO. I love clean fonts and this one is the bomb. It’s the perfect accent to work with other stamped phrases since any extra fluff won’t compete with the clean lines of the numbers.

And now you’re probably looking at those White Pearl Erasers and wondering why that would be a favorite tool. Well, I’ll tell ya. :) I use them to brush over my stamps! I generally used a VersaMark stamp to kind of season my stamps over the years (erasers now and then), but about a year and a half ago I started regularly using an eraser and I feel it works a lot better. Even if I’ve used them before. It just kind of gives it a fresh surface to work with.

After that is one of the cutest ways to stamp a date! It’s an 8-digit roller stamp. Check out how I used it HERE. It ain’t just all numbers babe.

Last, but not least is my favorite black ink from Studio Calico. I have other black inks, but I reach for this every time. I may even have three on hand so that I can always have access to one if others get caught under piles. Please tel me that I’m not the only one that has multiples of favorite items. ;) And lucky you that the erasers come in a multiple three-pack. haha

Here’s Andrea to tell us all about her project.

Hi crafty friends, Andrea here! Does your life have a soundtrack? Mine sure does. So many songs represent specific times or feelings in my life and it’s always been on my ‘someday list’ to create an album where I can document all of this music. I was so excited when Kerri asked me to join the blog for her celebration this year because it gave me the push to start this massive project. Today I’ll be sharing how I planned and setup the foundation for my music album!

 

 

The cover page was so fun to make! I traced and cut a couple of circles from patterned paper, and drew a turntable arm to look like a simple record player! Then added in bold stamps from the Borderlines and Block of Headlines sets.

 

 

 

For this project I first planned out how it would be organized and it made the most sense to divide it into decades. I used the Plan It: Travelers Notebook cut file to make templates for 10 dividers (the 40s through current with one to spare). Having a consistent look for each divider was important so I used a different design from the Borderlines and Block of Headlines stamp sets at the top. The Denali set of alphas and numbers was the perfect way to make the decade a focal point of each divider. I kept it simple and used only black ink so I can embellish later!

 

 

 

My plan is to make ongoing lists and then do some full TN pages for specific songs so I used the printables lists in the Plan It: Fundamentals pack. This will allow me to list as many songs as I want!
