I may not be getting out of the house, but by the magic of the internet and social media, I’m still ‘meeting’ amazing people. What a wonderful world we live in! Social media definitely has its downfalls, but the positive aspects soooo outweigh the negative.

Case in point, I’ve recently come to know the darling Miss Victoria Calvin. Man, this girl has got it goin’ on! She is so talented and always has amazing projects that she’s working on and sharing such fun ideas. A fabulous teacher! And I adore her ‘creative assistant’. ;) You’ll have to follow her on Instagram to get to know them both. Victoria is absolutely delightful…and I love having positive people in my feed. :)

Hello friends! This is Victoria Calvin with Victoria Marie Designs. I am so excited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Kerri Bradford Studio!  Today, I am sharing two projects I created using some of Kerri’s awesome digital and stamp products. 

For my first project, I created a traveler’s notebook spread using the Kerri Bradford Eat and Brooklyn XL Outline stamps sets.  Both sets are perfect for a variety of creative projects.  I wanted to keep this layout super simple, allowing the stamped images to be the main focal point of the design.  

 

To begin, I stamped the Eating In or Out and Good Food images from the Eat Stamp Set on Neena Solar White 110 lb. weight card stock using Intense Black Ink by Close to my Heart.  I trimmed the stamped sentiments and positioned them on my photos as shown. 

Next, I created a tag using card stock and pattern paper from my stash and stamped “It’s all about the food” using the Eat Stamp Set, and spelled “Chef” using the Brooklyn XL Outline Stamp Set. Lastly, I made a 3×4 pocket card using pattern paper from my stash and two stamps from the Eat Stamp Set, knife and fork and the “One More Bite” phrase. Both of these images were stamped above the typed journaling. 

 

For my second project, I created a hybrid 8.5 x 11 layout using the Kerri Bradford Possibility for Joy PNG file.  

To begin, I imported this Possibility for Joy PNG file in PicMonkey, an online photo editing and design website. Since I don’t use design software (i.e. Photoshop Elements or InDesign), I find that using a free or low cost web-based design platform is a great option for using PNG files.  Within PicMonkey, I created an 8.5 x 11 spread (2550 x 3300 pixels), imported the Possibility for Joy PNG file, and positioned it to the left side of the spread. I saved the spread to a file on my computer. 

 

 

Next, I printed the project using Neena Solar White cardstock. Tip: For best results, try using a high quality cardstock when printing digital images. 

Using items from my stash, I embellished this spread with pattern paper, fussy cut floral images, stickers, die cuts, and enamel dots.  Typed journaling strips were added underneath the photo. 

 

 

I love pairing digital files with physical products!

Wow. Aren’t those projects just glorious? I call it clean with character, which is my fave. Love the little details of each of her pockets including that tag! And the page with her cute face? The colors. sigh. Beautiful combination.

And great tips on using PicMonkey! I do use PS, but now I just want to go so what that’s all about. I’ve heard people talk of using it, but now I’m intrigued.
