We could not have a month-long birthday celebration without cake, right? And why should we stop at one cake or one cake plate? I like my options. I like to have my cake and eat it too. ;)

Now we continue with the KBS birthday celebration with this sweet little thing…Miss Jessica Upton. Not only does this girl have documenting skills, but she’s also creative business skills. As in, She’s the proud owner of Color Cast Designs. Ooooh, they are such a fun little addition to your stories! I used some in an album of our trip to Bend (here). Love them!

And today she’s here sharing some gorgeousness of her trip to Yellowstone.

 

 

 

Oh my! First off…the photos…spectacular! We didn’t see any baby bison when we were there. Mostly just the dads. The babies are so cute!

Love the simplicity of these pages. She’s just added some little touches to accent those beautiful photos. It’s perfect.

Here’s Jessica to tell us more:

I was so excited when Kerri showed me her new Greater Yellowstone stamp set as I just knew it would be perfect to document my recent trip. I used the stamps to create a title for my little pocket and as a tab on the smaller photo that will follow in my album. I love all of Kerri’s phrase stamps so much, she always has the best sentiments and these were just perfect for my buffalo photos.

On my next spread I used the little buffalo stamp with a light grey ink to make a background for my journaling. I love how it adds some texture without over powering the spread. The line of forest trees made a perfect last touch on my journaling along with one lone buffalo and a red heart for a pop of color.
