…but maybe have a bike first.

If there is one thing that COVID hasn’t helped me do, it’s ride a bike. Granted, owning a bike would probably have helped me out in that department, but instead, I have not joined the throngs of people who have taken up riding a bike during these past few months.

I guess I will live vicariously through others—either watching them or seeing fantastic pages about said bike riding, like Miss Sheree has for us today.

Okay, this is just ever-so dreamy! Sheree is using the Ride kit from this year’s One Day Monday Summer Freebie and it’s the first time I’ve seen it in action. And that tag using another freebie, the Top Notch Tag (always free) for the journaling? love.

Alright Sheree, show+tell us more:

When I saw the Ride cut file I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use it for.  I chose the phrase “get on your bike and ride” to use as my title and cut both of the bikes as well using my Silhouette so I could decide later which one to use on my traveler’s notebook spread.

I printed the photo to full page size, added a couple of die cuts, then stamped two phrases from the fun Block of Summertime stamp set.  One phrase was stamped directly onto the hearts die cut and the other was stamped onto white cardstock then added to the top of the photo.

For the second page I used a pretty bold stripe for the background, added a layer of vellum then adhered my cut file pieces with some liquid adhesive.  I printed the journaling and added it to the Top Notch Tag which I also cut out with my Silhouette.  (I love this tag!)   At the bottom of the tag I added another stamped phrase from the Block of Summertime stamp set.

To finish off the spread I added lots of machine stitching and a circular embellishment next to the title.  I love how this turned out and that bike is so cute!
