Confession.

I’m horrible at sending cards or even having a card when giving a gift. I have no idea why, but I am. Please tell me I’m not alone.

But I have to say, when I see something like these darling cards from Sheree, it makes me want to make a ton to have on hand.

 

i. can’t. even. Aren’t these just so stinkin’ cute? The little bear family. Ack! They are just adorable! And I think these cards would also make an awesome print in a baby’s room.

Here’s Sheree to tell us all about how she made them:

The Hello Baby stamp set is so sweet and perfect for cardmaking!  I used the digital version of these stamps to create three different baby cards.

In Photoshop, I created a number of bears in different sizes and three different shades of brown before printing and cutting them out ready to use.  I also chose three phrases/words from the stamp set and printed them out in various sizes as well.

For the first card I trimmed a white piece of cardstock and cut a window out before adding machine stitching.  I arranged three of the bears and a punched heart inside the window and adhered them onto a white cardstock background.  I used foam adhesive behind the white window card front to adhere it to the woodgrain background border then added the phrase and a little twine bow.

The second card also has a woodgrain border background.  I used a large image of the cute bear on this card, added a punched heart to the chest and adhered the phrase above the bear.

On the third card I used a piece of woodgrain at the top of the card with a punched scalloped edge.  I added machine stitching then arranged the bears at the bottom of the card and used foam tape behind the baby bear for dimension.  I turned the “Hello Baby” piece into a tag by adding a piece of woodgrain, punching a hole and adding some twine.  This was adhered to the top of the card, then I added punched hearts to finish it off.

I love that by using the digital version of these sweet stamps I was able to easily resize and colour the images to suit the cards I wanted to make…and they were so fun to create with too!
