Who would have thought that school would have ‘ended’ the way it did? And who would have thought school would continue to be an issue? Trying to attend. Masks. Part time. Full time online school. Such a variety of ways to get that education. I can’t even imagine having kids in school right now.

So how are you documenting about your school-age kids? What are the pros and cons of education in your home right now?

It truly is a crazy time.

Well, whether they were off to school or staying home for school, surely you had a first day of school photo, yes?

I’m pretty sure Jordan SM is one of my favorite alphas EVER. Like, ever. And the size is perfect to use in my notebook.

I spaced out each line of stamping with a ruler and then I just sort winged it with my individual word spacing. To keep things (fairly) even, I usually start stamping with the middle letter of each word (or phrase – don’t forget to count spaces, too!) and then add in the letters before and after.

A simple date & title is really all this spread needed to tell the story of my high schoolers’ first (which actually turned out to be their last!) day of in-school learning. Easy peasy.
