Stamp update first.

Before we get into today’s wonderful page by Miss Sheree, I wanted to let you know that the Year Round preorders have started shipping. Yay! I’ve also added more stock to the store…so double YAY!

The past couple months I’ve reordered many stamps and they are starting to trickle in, but I’m still waiting for the Outnumbered ONE preorders—hoping they’ll be here in a week. Sorry, all this has been simply out of my control for the past couple months. I hope my manufacturer can get caught up soon–he’s had his own frustrations with product delay.

Trick Or Treat is on its way to me, so that restock has been added to the store now. Another yay! There are many other stamps I’m still waiting for—pretty much, if you’re looking for it, it’s coming…sometime. Been waiting for soooo many restocks. I will just be adding them as they come in and will let you know in real time on social media, so keep an eye out there.

And speaking of Trick or Treat, we have quite the treat for you today! The lovely Sheree Forcier has a marvelous spread for you today using the digital Trick Or Treat stamps.

 

 

 

Sheree always has an amazing gift for bringing all her elements together….and this page is divine. Lovin’ the use of digital stamps here. Sometimes I feel like they can be quite freeing. And as always, her stitching is always just the right touch.

Here’s Sheree to tell us more and show us how she brought it all together:

I was excited to use the digital version of the Trick Or Treat stamps for my Halloween spread!  I really love how versatile digital stamps can be as you can colour them, change the orientation and resize the images too! 

I decided on which stamps I wanted to use on my project and opened them up in Photoshop.  I made the “Boo” stamp a little larger and changed the colour of the line of text underneath to orange.

I wanted to use two ravens on the spread so I created two, made one smaller than the other and flipped one of them to face the opposite direction to the other.

The pumpkins were so fun to play with.  I wanted to make a group of three for my project.  I enlarged one large pumpkin, made it orange and layered the face on top.  The other two pumpkins I made smaller, both slightly different shades of orange and both different sizes.

I also chose some other phrases to print as well including “Scary Good”, “The Magic Is On!” and “Bewitching”.

Once everything was printed, the spread came together so easily!  To finish it off, I added the date using a stamp from the Today stamp set along with lots of black stitching.
