Before we get started, I just want to say from the bottom of my little ol’ soul, thank you so much for all your love and support over this month’s release! Even with increased inventory, we still sold out of a few of them on the first day and the ones that remain are low in numbers. I’m so happy to see so many of these little gems going to some happy homes.

Also, I should have restocks on a lot of stamps next week, including the elusive Outnumbered ONE. YAY! I’m so sorry. I know that so many of you have been waiting a whole lot longer than we all thought for that preorder that should have been shipping a month ago. But I even double checked last night–because my paranoia set in (perhaps it was anxiety? haha) and I was assured that yes, it is coming.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program…

Okay, I know I’m generally a ‘flat’ minimalist when it comes to documenting, but I do love mixing up different textures or mediums, like Minc or wood veneers.

So the question is, did you know that I partnered with the lovely Jessica Upton from Color Cast Designs to create a few holiday wood veneers? Ohhhh ya baby! You can find them HERE. I do see that the words, Ho Ho Ho, is out of stock, but I believe she’ll have more later in the month.

In the meantime, let’s take a look at what Miss Ashley has done with the new stamps and the new veneers…because…hello…awesomeness!

 

 

I absolutely looove that holidays word on the corner! I’m not a fan of making two straight lines weld up together. I much prefer a two-piece word with that spacing than have it all melted together. Leave it to my Creative Team to think outside the box and use the divided word on a corner! And all the other little embellishment ensembles? Fantastic.

When I get a whole bunch of cute stamps from Kerri, it’s pretty hard to decide on which set I want to use for a project.  This month, I just decided to use a whole lot of them!!  Kerri is having a fun team-up with Jessica from Color Cast Designs, and I got to incorporate some very merry wood veneers with my stamps on today’s layout.

My initial inspiration for this layout was the Round About Christmastime stamp.  I thought I could use it with a tag that would be the background for my photo on the left-hand side of the page.  I made a tag sized to the half circle phrases from the stamp set and cut it out with my Cameo.  Then, I stamped “Tis The Season” with ‘tradition’ from the stamp set at the top of the tag.

I wanted to use the large Holiday word from Color Cast Designs as the title of my page.  At first, I had planned to place it vertically along the left side of the tag/photo.  Since the word was split though, I thought it would be fun to add it framing the corner of the photo.

On the right-hand side of the layout, I printed a full-size photo.  This is one of my go to techniques when I’m doing TN layouts.  It makes putting your pages together, quick and easy!  Then I finished off the full layout, by stamping images from the Home for Christmas, Merry News and The Holidays stamp sets and one more wood veneer on the right-hand side of the layout.
