I love tiny little gift ideas that are sweet, simple and quickly done. That homemade touch that looks amazing without a lot of crazy work.

That’s the best kind. :)

And today, our lovely Miss Maggie has several ideas on just that very thing.

Take a look!

Okay, that ‘snowflake’ made from the tree? What the heck? And accented with a little circle word from Home For Christmas in the center…how clever is that? Not to mention outlining the gifts. Genius….and stinkin’ cute. These are just a few of my favorite things.

Here’s Maggie to tell us more:

I think one of my favorite parts of the holiday season is wrapping gifts…I absolutely love it. So each year, around this time, I start creating some tags to decorate the presents I’ll give. And wouldn’t you know…Kerri’s newest stamps arrived right in time for me to use!

I found some tags & card holders in my stash, picked a few of my favorite inks, and got to work. I think one of the things I like best about stamping tags is that they’re so dang small. They don’t require a ton of time or thought and you can crank out a bunch at one setting…especially when the stamps you’re working with are top notch!

I think the tag I love the most is the one with all of the little retro-looking packages. I made this tag using the Home For Christmas & Merry News (the TO: / FROM: design) sets. I started at the bottom of the tag and simply stamped the block portion of each “package” at random…followed by each string bow design. Then, with a ruler, I added definition around each box…slightly offset to give that mid-century, nostalgic feel to the tag.

I’m so excited to use my new tags this Christmas! I can’t believe it’ll be here before we know it…
