I really could use more fall. Not just the crisp mornings and cooler days, but more time to see all the color on the trees. The tree across the street–always the first one to turn–has lost at least two-thirds of its leaves already. Waaaaahhhh….

Maybe that’s why I take so many pictures. Something to hold onto until fall comes again.

I do need some ideas for all those photos and our lovely Miss Tazhi has a gorgeous one!

 

 

 

 

Remember that little conversation we had yesterday about the versatility of digital stamps? Well this is a fabulous combination of both digital and physical. Those big ol’ printed leaves mixing with some beautifully stamped leaves and words…sigh.

Here’s what Tazhi has to say:

Hello crafty friends! I am beyond excited to share another layout in my Life Crafted album with you all featuring the October releases from our favorite stamp guru, Kerri Bradford! For this project, I used the Welcome stamp set as well as the coordinating digitals.

For this scrapbook layout, I started with a 5×8 canvas in photoshop that I added some leaves to from the digital set and then colored in what I thought were all colors. I also printed three photos at 2×3 and matted them on coordinating colors of cardstock. On a separate 2×3 card, I stamped the larger leaf from the stamp set in yellow ink and then directly stamped the larger quote on top in black. That particular sentiment is a lovely one and I knew it had to go on this story about my zoom calls with friends and family.

On the opposite side, I printed my journaling on a 5×8 canvas and then stamped Family and the glad you’re here sentiment in black ink. I love the contrast of the large title (also, I spy the Jordan alpha font and I love it so much!), the smaller typed journaling and that script sentiment on the bottom. I stamped two more leaves, in the same yellow color and a rich burgundy and added a few puffy stickers on both sides of the layout from my stash to complete this project.
