Fall will forever be my favorite. The smell, crisp air and crunchy leaves. Harvest time on the farm with fresh turned earth and trucks of potatoes, sugar beets or grain rolling by. It’s a grand time of year.

There are so many fun activities centered around fall. So many memories. And today we have Miss Maggie here sharing a fantastic spread featuring the new Wheat Background stamp. OMG! I love how she made it looked ‘distressed’ too. And she’s rocking the new Jordan Lower SM alphabet too!

Here’s Maggie to tell us about it:

Autumn is my absolute favorite season to document. The colors and textures are so beautiful – especially here in the Midwest – and the events of these few months are so fun and so rich with tradition. Plus, even with all of the restrictions in and around our state, we still managed to hit a few pumpkin patches for some late-night corn maze running.

I started this pumpkin-filled spread by creating a background with Kerri’s new Wheat Background. I inked up the stamp, placed it onto my page and then just pushed down in random places around the stamp to create an irregular design. I LOVE the way this turned out…it reminds me of a warm, toasty sweater, or of a haystack, and it gives my spread just the texture I was looking for.

Next, I stamped my title using the new Jordan Lower SM alphabet, and added a few designs from the Feast set. Quick & simple and full of fall!
