I cannot even tell you just how excited I am for this week! Some time ago Miss Christine Herrin of Everyday Explorers Co and I got to chatting–having never done so before–and it was so lovely getting to know this incredibly talented and wonderful human being. It was also nice to be able to talk to someone who truly gets what goes on behind the scenes of being ‘CEO’ of your own company. It kind of makes you feel not so alone. ;)
She and I have similar yet unique styles and share the same love of stamps and travelers notebooks. So we thought it would be fabulous to bring those two styles together and have a collaboration week with our design teams using both of our products. Yay!
Oh. My. Gosh.
I’m so excited for you all to see what we have for you!
Today we’re starting off with Miss Melissa. This spread is so fab! I’m going to let her tell you all about it. And after you’re done here, go check out Everyday Explorers and their Instagram to see what they have going on.
Like most, our travel has been limited this year but, the silver lining is, I’ve been able to enjoy summer collapsing into fall in and around my own neighborhood.
I put this spread together using a combination of products from Everyday Explorers and Kerri Bradford. If you follow me on Instagram, you may notice that I post a lot of projects where I use products from both these amazing designers. Kerri and Christine’s products compliment each other so well.
To start this project I used the digital traveler’s notebook papers from the Practice Gratitude kit from Everyday Explorers. I added my journaling digitally, keeping in mind the size of pictures, embellishments and stamps that I wanted to add after printing my base papers.
I decided to give this spread a cohesive look by backing all my photos and an embellishment for both days with craft paper. I also cut a few maple leaves from Kerri’s Welcome digital stamps with my Silhouette machine to use as embellishments on both sides of the spread.
Another cohesive element comes from the Autumn Mix printable tags from Kerri. Those are the best neutral embellishments.
To finish off this spread I added some stamps from both the Everyday Explorers Practice Gratitude physical kit and the Welcome and Happiness Captured stamps sets from Kerri.
