Which is it for you? Are you a Christmas Eve person or a Christmas Day person? Some open all their presents on the eve and some on the day. Dinners can vary too.

We like to have our own family Christmas Eve dinner because our whole married life we always had a big family dinner on Christmas Day. As those family dynamics are changing with parents passing, I’ve asked my kids what they’d prefer–to continue with a big dinner on the eve or change it to Christmas Day. We’re sticking with tradition and then will have a big breakfast in the morning.

It’s a very merry time here at KBS with the holiday freebies that are happening this month!  I have a layout today using the Before+After Christmas Tags.  I love using digitals to create hybrid layouts, because I can work on getting my design set up in Adobe Illustrator.  This makes it really easy to get a page done quickly!

I decided to use four of the tags from today’s freebie and create a grid design.  I paired the tags with four photos to get the main layout for my page.  Once I had all of these in place, I adhered some washi tape across the center of the page and added some typed journaling.

I finished off the layout with a couple of chipboard stars and some of the Christmas wood veneers, that I had left from the October KBS/Color Cast Designs team up.  And for some extra texture, I machine stitched across the top of each of the tags.
