It’s our final day. I just can’t even believe it. Time just flew by! Just 12 more days until Christmas now. Oh my.

The Christmas Cheer Tags are so fun and I knew right away that I wanted to gold foil them with my Minc!

For my first project using these tags I decided to make a little envelope page for my December album.  I used my Silhouette and the Envelope: Tabbed file to cut an A2 sized envelope from vellum then scored, folded and adhered the envelope together.  I wrapped ribbon and twine around the middle then took another piece of twine to attach the falala tag, a piece of glitter cardstock and a gold chipboard number.  I tucked in a little branch embellishment and adhered a gold star to the centre.  I added some confetti stars inside the envelope then adhered an acetate piece to the left side so that I could add it into my album.  This will be perfect for holding a letter, wish list, or even photos for that day’s story in December!

For the second project using these tags I chose one of the tags and enlarged it in Photoshop to approximately 8 inches tall.  I printed it with my laser printer, gold foiled it with my Minc, then punched the hole in the top.  I stitched around the edge, added some ribbon and twine then punched holes down the side so I could add it as a little page in my album.  I also added a gold foiled digital stamped piece from the Block of Joy stamp set to the bottom of the tag and stitched across it to finish it off.  When I get to this page of my album in December I will add either a story, photo or patterned paper to the back of the tag depending on what the day brings.
