It’s a brand new year! I can’t even believe I’m saying that. It doesn’t even feel like we’re at a new year. How is it even possible?

I said to my daughter last night, ‘Does it magically get better once the new year is here?’ ;) I do have my hopes that things will be looking up. We definitely had a rough go of 2020, but we also had some really great times too, so I refuse to let the downs outweigh the good times. I much prefer to keep my glass half full. Which is why, I suppose, that I have hopes for a much better 2021.

And we are starting off this year with some fabulous stamps! It’s looking better already, right? ;)

Fill In The Blank is option overload. So many ways to use this! You’ll be seeing more little examples from me on social media, but here are a couple I recently shared.

 

 

 

 

Just so you know, the digital version of Fill In the Blank will be available sometime next week. If you saw on social media, my father-in-law passed away this week and my time has not been focused on work. Making digital kits can take quite a bit of time, particularly when they are large like this one. I just had to take it off my plate for peace of mind. :)

And the Max alphabets are a bold and gorgeous character. Aptly named Max because of just that boldness…well, and my maiden name is Maxwell and we’ve already had a Maxwell stamp set. ;)

What a year 2020 has been. So much has changed for so many of us. Whatever you might be dealing with right now, I see you. I feel you. Please hang on. 

As a new year approaches, I sit and reflect on what goals and ideas worked for me to be the best version of myself throughout the year.   I try to set realistic and healthy goals for myself. Usually, I just jot them down at the beginning of my planner often referring back to them throughout the year. This year, for the first time ever, I decided to create a vision board. I liked the idea of a vision board and having photo clippings and quotes that resonated with me in a pretty little scrapbook page. 

For this project, on the left, I started with with a large 6×8″ photo of myself, looking small among the forest of giant trees, riding my bike. I stamped the word ‘grow’ on it with the awesome Max alpha stamp set. On the right side, in my OCD fashion, I neatly adhered lots of stock photos and quotes from the internet down on my “board”. I added some tags from the Fill in the Blank stamp set (so many possibilities with this set) and typed some quotes and supporting words for GROW on them.  

I’m very happy with how my first vision board turned out. Hoping and wishing for big and healthy things for all of us this new year.
