Okay, leave it to my lovely creative team ladies to totally think outside the box. At first glance, you make think this is just a lovely spread accented with this month’s stamps. But if you take a closer look…even at those hearts, you’ll find that bit of extra magic. That heart card….gasp.

There are two things I love about using stamps on my projects:  1.  You can make it simple and use them as is, or 2. You can get a little more creative by mixing them with other mediums. 

I was working on my Week 10 Project Life spread and wanted to bring in some texture without adding anything too bulky, so I decided to pair my stamps with embossing powder.  I used a Black powder with the word “love” from the So Much Love stamp set.  Once I had the letters embossed, I cut each one out and added it to my PL card. 

I also used some Gold Embossing powder with the heart shape from the So Much Love set to create some extra embellishments for my page.  Then, I stamped on some of my journaling cards and photos, using the Love Is Everywhere stamp set and the Headline Lower/SM stamp set.
