There’s nothing like receiving a little physical happy mail. A sweet note or card in the mail will brighten anyone’s day. It’s such a surprise!

And how would you feel if you got these darling cheery cards like Miss Sheree has made? Aren’t they just lovely? And the little touch of sequins adds that extra bit of sparkle.

 

 

 

I love the size of the Headline Upper XL & Lower XL stamps and thought it would be fun to create some cards with a big feature word paired with a smaller phrase from the new Block of Togetherness stamps.

I picked out some of my favourite distress oxide coloured inks and stamped up each letter in different colours onto plain white cardstock before fussy cutting them out. The Block of Togetherness phrases were also stamped onto white cardstock but in black ink instead to create some contrast.  I arranged the letters and phrases onto plain white cardstock with foam adhesive for dimension then layered some messy thread underneath to add some subtle texture.  I also added some translucent sequins and a stitched black border around the edges. 

To finish off the card fronts I used the same distress oxide ink colours that I used for the letters and a foam blending tool to create a coordinating background border for each before adhering them onto the front of plain white cards.
