You all know how I love my words, particularly when used for design. So you can imagine the squeal of delight that occurred when I saw this most amazing spread from our darling Miss Maggie! The mix of the two stamp sets? Genius!

(And because I know I’ll get asked, more Block of Togetherness should be available on April 1.)

 

A few weeks ago, my family and I made a short trip to Florida to visit family and to get a break from the frigid Midwest weather. We had the best time together at the beach and at Disney, and we got some really great photos, too!

When we got home, I was so stoked to see that my latest KB stamps were waiting for me…and they were just what I needed to document this fantastic little family getaway!

To start this spread, I grabbed my Block of Togetherness & Headline Lower XL sets and a bunch of stamp colors I thought would complement my photo. I had originally thought about printing my photo in black & white and then stamping with fewer colors…but I just couldn’t bring myself to take all of that beautiful green away from those gorgeous palm trees…so here we are. 

Now, I would love to say that I just sat down and started stamping and was able to create my page, error-free, the very first time I tried…but I’d be lying. I was, however, able to make it look just like I had envisioned it on my second attempt. Thank goodness, because patience is not one of my strengths when it comes to documenting.

I love how this spread turned out…and I love the memories it brings back of our whirlwind trip.
