They say a picture says a thousand words. Well? What’s a few more when you use them to feature that photo…and of course all designed in the most aesthetically pleasing stackable way? :)

I love to mix and match stamp sets on my projects and this traveler’s notebook spread features six different sets!  I opted for a plain white background so that the coloured inks I wanted to use would really pop.

I made a tag using the On The Grid (n/a) background stamp.  I used my Misti stamping tool to ink up portions of the stamp with different colours to create a rainbow effect.  I wiped off the stamp between colours but I could see where the previous colour had ended which allowed me to slightly overlap and blend the colours together. I really love how it turned out!

I used the reinforcer stamp from Year Round, some stitching and twine to finish off my tag.  The tag was cut down the middle to I could position it across both pages of my TN.

I then inked up a heart from the Iconic stamp set, phrases from Block of Togetherness, numbers from Headline Lower XL and letters from Headline Upper SM in different colours onto white cardstock before cutting them out and positioning them down the second page of the spread.  Some were adhered directly do the page while other were adhered with foam tape for dimension.  Machine stitching was also added for texture.

To finish off I stamped the month and year using Year Round onto white cardstock and attached it just above my photo on the first page.
