Before we get in to today’s amazingness, I just wanted to mention that we are around 1/3-1/2 of quantities left on the brand new stamps. Whoa. Makes me so happy to know these are going into all of your little hands to make wonderful things. :)  Also, the iNSD sale continues through Monday (see previous post for details).

Now, I just have to say that these creative KBS girls never cease to amaze me. They are just so clever! I never would have thought to double up an outlined title like Miss Maggie has done here. It’s brilliant! All of the words here are just fantastic. And just because a stamp set says Southern California it doesn’t mean you can’t use it for Florida. ;)

 

 

 

When I was searching for photos for this page, I came across this one from our recent trip to Florida and thought it would be the perfect fit for my project. I knew I wanted to choose a photo that I could stamp on, and the skyline here really lends itself to that.

I stamped my title “COCOA BEACH” using both the Headline Upper Outline & the Headline Upper SM Outline sets, and then I added the “along the coast” sentiment from the Southern California set. I walked away from my project for a few hours, and when I came back, it occurred to me that my photo looked a little bit like a postcard. So I ran with it.

I turned my background horizontally, and added my “greetings from…” (Headline Lower SM) – then I found some beachy embellishments and added them, along with the “FLORIDA” and a palm tree from the Southern California set.

I added my date using the Fill In The Blank set and finished up with a few more designs from the Southern California set. 

I LOVE the vibe from this page…and it makes me long for that warm day, the sand, and the ocean.
