If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a ‘picture’ of words worth? In my book, its’ a lot. ;)

Ashley’s spread featuring words about the Statue Of Liberty is wonderful! Especially with her choice of using the tall Juniper Alpha Jumbo letters for the theme of the page. This type is definitely something to be hyped about.

 

 

 

Happy iNSD friends!!  Today, I have a Traveler’s Notebook layout to share with you, showing a large title created with a mix of KBS stamps.  You can get a fun look, by filling up one side of your layout with a mix of different sized/style alphas and bringing in phrases from other stamp sets.

I started with the Juniper Alpha Jumbo.  I used some ink to blend a few different colors on clear sticker paper.  Then I stamped the word “lady” with the Juniper Alpha Jumbo in black ink and then I cut out each of the letters.  I adhered them to my background paper, and then stamped the word “liberty” below it with this month’s new release, Headline Upper SM Outline alpha.  I love these kinds of open letter alphas, because you can fill them in and I used a colored pencil to color in the letters.  After I had Lady Liberty in place on my layout, I used some phrase stamps from the I Love New York Stamp set to add some interest to the title.
