We are continuing with our month-long iNSD Type Hype theme via the lovely and talented Ashley Rodgers and oh my goodness…does she have a splendid page for us today! Love, love, love that background paper she made using the Defined digital stamps!

 

 

 

Hello! I’m so excited to join Kerri Bradford Studio in celebrating iNSD today!

For my project, I created a hybrid 6×8 layout using Digital Stamps: Defined and the Newport XL stamp set.

First, I used the Defined digital stamp set to create a pattern of text for the background. I chose a few sentiments that resonated with me, reduced the size of the files, and repeated them until I filled the whole page. Then, I recolored the text light grey and printed it on white cardstock for a subtle contrast.

Next, I layered a handful of fussy cut florals behind my photo and embellished the page with a few die cuts from my stash.

To finish the page, I stamped the word “life” on a separate sheet of cardstock using the Newport XL stamp set. I cut the letters out with my trusty scissors and added them to the page with foam tape for extra dimension.

I love the bold black letters against the soft patterned background. It’s super simple, but adds a lot of interest. I hope you feel inspired to use your Kerri Bradford stamps in new and different ways! Happy creating!
