All that glitters is fabulous, especially when it comes to a title. And our month-long iNSD Type Hype guest artist, Nathalie DeSousa, has made something absolutely wonderful in that category! Loving those embossed XL letters! And tune it tomorrow for some more splendidness from Nathalie.

 

 

 

All celebrations should come with a side of glitter and glitz even in Covid times!  Since we cannot be together to pop the confetti, how about adding a bit of shimmer to your memory.

I wanted a bold title for my page.  I reached for the Headline Upper Alpha XL stamp set and heat embossed the word, “Happy”, right on the center of my page.   I used glitter embossing black powder so that the letters are bold, but also shine brightly when they catch the light!

To mark the age celebration, I heat embossed the number “8” next to the title. I chose to use matte red embossing powder so that it contrasts from the title.  To  finish the title page, I used a small thin sentiment from The Nature of Spring to add a small sentiment below the title.

To complete my page, I sized the photo and journal so that it mirrors the size of the title ( or so I hoped).  I used a sentiment from The Nature of Spring between the picture and journal lines, a sort of subtitle for my page.

Of course, I had to add confetti,  or in this case enamel dots to finish my page.  Nothing better than a sense of celebration in a page!
