I am just soooo feeling the colors of spring! Every week it seems I’m waiting for a new color to appear in leaves, in blossoms, in flowers, in skies…there’s always something to be excited about.

And that just rolls in to the excitement for today’s Type Hype page by Miss Barbara Picinich. The way she added a rainbow of color to her title just makes you want to go ahhhhh…. Delightful, it is.

There is nothing better than a sans serif alpha stamp set and the Brooklyn XL stamp set was the perfect set to stamp out my full page title.

My first step in working on a project like this is to map it out before I stamp to make sure I have the spacing right before I start. Once I have the spacing down I start stamping from the bottom and work my way up. I initially I had planned to stamp the whole title in the grey color but as I was stamping I decided to stamp the word “color” in a rainbow so it would stand out even more. I stamped those letters on separate pieces of card stock and fussy cut them out. I really wanted it to pop so I raised the letters up with pop dots to lift them off the page. That extra pop of color and the lift really made the title come to life and I love it.

The rest of the spread was my favorite go to design of a grid of photos and cards and that little pocket holds a pull out tag to hold a few words. The rainbow puffy stickers helped bring in even more color to the title page.

This project made me so happy when I was done and I’m so grateful to be asked to join in on this fun series on Kerri’s blog. Thank you so much for having me and allowing me a chance to play and create with your fantastic stamps.

Thank you, Barbara, for coloring us all happy. :)
