One of the summer moments I’m always noticing has got to be nature. I’m watching the flowers change, the leaves are all green, it’s time to just be outside and enjoy it all!

And today Ashley has a beautiful spread about her observations Nature, which is today’s Summer Notice Freebie.

Isn’t this beautiful? And that bee in the photo?  So cool! The color behind the letters is awesome. And I’m loving how she added the Notice from last week’s freebie.

 

 

 

Summer’s easy to love, especially when you add some KBS freebies to the mix!  This Summer, it’s all about what you “notice”.  And, there are a lot of things to notice, one of my favorites being nature. 

I combined the two word freebies on a layout in my Story Line Chapters book.  I thought it would be fun to use the word Nature in two ways.  First, I layered it over my photo, sized two different ways, for a hybrid look when I printed it.  Next, I cut the word a bit larger on my Cameo and then backed each of the openings of the letters with different patterned papers. 

I love to layer titles and ephemera over my photos to create visual interest.  I brought in the word Notice, after cutting it on my Cameo, by adding it vertically next to the photo.  And for a fun touch, I used enamel dots to create a colon after the word.
