You guys, I am seriously on a roll! My house may still be in a chaotic state, but gosh darn it, I’m getting so much done work-wise…including another page in my Summer Notice book. What?? I’m just keeping it simple to get it done. That’s my motto and I’m sticking with it.

For this spread I used the Trees word from the Nature freebie. If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I have an obsession over trees. My favorite thing to do is be in the mountains and just sit and look at the trees. And if there’s a breeze that makes them dance…all the better.

So when I had my mind on Noticing the trees that are all green at this time of year, I thought for sure I would be taking a photo that incorporated what I was seeing. But then the other day we watched Mac for. a little bit. He enjoys being outside just like his dad and just like his nana. Kass took him outside to look at the tree and sooth his fussy soul. From where I was sitting I could see his head looking this way and that at the dancing leaves on that breezy evening.

What a joy!

Obviously I had to capture the moment. It never occurred to me that what I’d notice would be my grandson ‘noticing’ the tree outside. Watching the leaves dance soothes my soul too, Mac. Me too.
