Before we get to today’s freebie I just wanted to mention that it looks like I will be releasing the July stamps on June 30 due to European countries switching to a VAT tax on July 1. I want to give my European peeps one last opportunity to be able to purchase stamps before any changes are made.

What does this mean for my European friends? And for my UK friends?

As I’ve been looking into all this hullabaloo, I believe I will be able to sell stamps only (still figuring out digitals) to EU and UK as long as the purchase price exceeds $185. I know, that’s a lot to put down at one time. That is the value we have to put on the customs form too so that taxes will be handled on your end rather than mine (or any storefront in the US). I’m just a one-man band, so to speak, and just can’t deal with collecting and paying taxes out to all the European countries (and UK). But I can make it so the customer can do it. I believe this is what some people like me in my industry are doing.

Stay tuned as more details arise for both EU and UK. I may not be able to make it happen by July 1, but I think I’m finally headed in the right direction and can make it happen soon though. :) I just have to figure out how to make it work in my store and my time is limited for the next week or two.

Now on to today’s freebie!

I’ve been listening to the words you’d like to see for this summer. And there were some of you who had mentioned forms of love and watching…and so guess what the freebie is for today. That would be Loving, which includes the words loving, seeking and watching. 

I was excited about the word watching, not only because it can be used for so many occasions, but for me, that’s what I started doing this week with my grandson and it was perfect!

 

 

 

 

This time I printed my journaling on vellum and attached it under the photo and then adhered the letters just barely over the bottom of the vellum to keep it all in place. I also accented it all with stamps from Hello Baby.
