Is there some couple in your life that inspire you to achieve their ‘couple goals’? Perhaps your grandparents? Good friends? Or perhaps you may be the inspiration for someone else’s goals, like a daughter’s goals of her parents, like Melissa’s. What a sweet moment and thought that she captured of Melissa and her husband! And that title using the Max Outline SM set and sprinkled with Thoughts? divine.
(And yes, more Max and Willow alphas have been reordered.)
Hi friends! Today I’m sharing another layout in my travelers notebook. On a recent trip to the mountains, my husband and I were sunning ourselves on a large boulder. Our oldest daughter stopped what she was doing and asked with such excitement if she could snap some pictures of us. I find it so sweet that our kiddos ask to take pictures of us. Taking pictures of my parents when I was 12 was something I never thought of doing. But I feel so lucky our kiddos are helping us be part of our family story.
I started by printing out the picture just shy of 4″x6″. Backed the photo with some neutral pattern paper, added a tag at the top left of the picture with the date stamped out with the Willow Time SM stamp. At the bottom left of the picture I added some other sentiments from the Thoughts stamp set.
On the right side, I printed my journaling on white paper towards the bottom to leave room for my stamping. Then using the Max Outline SM, and I stamped out this partial quote of what my daughter said to us in her excitement in asking us to take our picture. I love those quotation marks from the Thoughts stamp set. I added a bit of washi at the top right to add some interest up there in all that white space, and I added another stamped sentiment from the Thoughts stamp set. To finish up, I added a chipboard heart and some more stamping right above my journaling.
