Got some 4th of July stories to be told? (If. you live in America, that is. ;) ) I know we do. We had family visiting from California and we had some fun-filled days.
But whether you have some holiday or spectacular stories to be told, this darling little mini album from Jessica is a fabulous idea! I’m giving this five stars…okay, maybe I should give it all the stars, considering. ;) This is just gorgeous!
When I received the Fourth of July set from Kerri for this month’s release, I knew right away that I wanted to make a mini album of sorts to store all of my 4th of July photos from years past (and maybe leave some room for future years).
I made a little folio album (with amazing direction from Jamie Pate) with a couple of pockets to hold all of the various photos from several years of our annual trip to Grama’s house for the 4th of July. The front cover is secured with velcro and I used several of the new stamps to decorate the cover in shades of red and blue.
The inside includes 2 pockets for all of my photos and room for more over the coming years. I made a bunch of embellishments with the stamps to decorate the inside of the album. I love how they all turned out. I am just waiting on this years photos to and and then I will do a journaling card or 2 that summarizes the 4th of July in a small mountain town of Colorado. Something my entire family will cherish in years to come.
Stamps: Fourth of July + Thoughts.
P.S. The Fourth of July (and Canada Day) stamp set is a seasonal item and will not be reordered until next year. If it’s something you’re wanting, best be getting it now. :)
