I have a list of places I want to see…and the Great Smoky Mountains is one of them. I want to say that I might have seen them as a child, but I just can’t remember for sure. Even then, nine years old is pretty young to truly have appreciated seeing them. ;)

But, our darling Miss Maggie has seen them fairly recently and has made the most gorgeous spread using Outdoor Mood and Max Outline. Love the tree stamp and date detail in the bottom right corner. And I love how you can make a big title without the weightiness of a filled letter. Open, like the the big blue skies above the Smoky Mountains. Ahhh….

And speaking of Max, they are back in stock! Same with the Willows. They seem to go a whole lot faster than I think, just so you know. ;)

 

 

Almost a year ago, we spent a fantastic week in Pigeon Forge, TN, for one of my younger son’s baseball tournaments, We rented this amazing VRBO cabin with the most beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains, and it was amazing to wake up each morning to this incredible scenery. I will never forget that week. 

The minute I saw Kerri’s Outdoor Mood set, I knew it would be perfect to use for documenting this photo.  And the Max Outline was just the right alphabet, too! Not only are outline stamps my favorite, but they allow you to see the background without being too overpowering.

I printed out my photo (on matte photo paper) large enough to cover both sides of my notebook, and then just stamped directly onto the print.

I kept the stamping simple…but I LOVE it. This spread brings back all of those memories of that incredible view, and of our perfect week in TN.
