Anyone else listen to ocean waves on their AirPods Pro to block out the sound from your husband watching tv so you can read a book and pretend you’re at the ocean too? Or is it just me? ;)

What is so comforting about that sound? I often wonder if I would get tired of it if I had to listen to it 24/7 all year long. Like, what if I was stranded on an island, would I go crazy? I have a hard time listening to things blowing (e.g., ac/heater). Would the ocean sound get to me eventually? We were close to the ocean in Kauai for a month, but removed enough that it wasn’t dominating. I wonder… :)

Anywaaaaaay, the ocean is a thing to behold and love. And so is this gorgeous spread from Miss Melissa. That heart/word design is awesome! And the date tab? giddiness happening right here.

 

 

 

Hi friends!! Today my layout is all about our love for the beach. My kids can spend hours upon hours at the beach and I can just sit and happily watch them.

This layout came together pretty quickly. It’s pretty minimal and I love that I was able to use so many stamp sentiments on one layout. 

I started on the left side of my layout, using the Iconic digital stamp, I cut a heart inside of a square, smaller than the background paper, using very light gray paper. I lightly traced the heart on the white background and using the Waves stamp, I just used all the stamps to fill the space behind the heart. Once all my stamping was complete, I stitched the heart paper down. I added another stamped piece of ephemera, also from the Waves stamp, at the top of the gray square/heart. I added a tab on the bottom right of the page and added a date using the Timetable stamp set. 

For the right side, I printed my picture and left a good sized white border around my photo leaving enough space to add a few more stamp sentiments from the Waves stamp set.
