In all the years of the kids growing up, we never had animals. If they couldn’t take care of their own bedrooms, they couldn’t take care of an animal. ;) But somewhere along the way, Otis found us, literally. He’s 11 1/2 now and sadly I think he doesn’t have a lot of time left with us. He’s a lab/rott mix and that’s pretty old. Which is not only sad for us, but will be sad for Tito because those two love each other. They don’t necessarily ‘snuggle’, but they love being together. And Tito will always go up and rub around Otis’ face.

Two little buddies for sure.

 

 

 

I thought the Academy alpha stamp was perfect for this little spread! I also used a star stamp from Merry, a phrase from Outsider and a date from Timetable. Clean, simple, easy.

One other little tip. I don’t like bulk in my travelers notebooks, but wanted the date to stand out a little as a unique accent. So, I used three layers of cardstock to give it a little more depth, but not as much as a foam tape. Worked perfectly.
