If there’s one thing summer is known for, it’s a variety of Weather–hot sunny days, big huge clouds, a windy breeze and rain. This year we seem to have had a bit of rain and boy are we grateful! There was even a span of time when it would rain a little every morning, which was unusual. It’s not unusual to get the monsoonal storms in the afternoon and evening though, except for last year. I don’t remember it hardly raining at all.

So it’s been rather delightful to have more rain this year. And oddly, I had these words planned out for some time, so when I was pulling things together last week, it was raining a lot! And oh my goodness, I’ve had the song Rain by Imagine Dragons in my head for a week now! Speaking of, did you know that Imagine Dragons got their start where I live? :)

So here’s my page with a few rain observations this summer.

 

 

 

And I’m so happy to have that photo of baby Mac for this spread too. I hadn’t originally planned to have it, but it rained so much and there was one morning he was watching out the window with us as it stormed. He’s 4 1/2 months now and has loved standing at the window for a few weeks. He’s always been so strong and he’s growing so fast!

As usual, I’m just keeping these pages simple. I used a little word strip from a Heidi Swapp kit of ephemera. I used Botanically Inclined to stamp leaves behind my vellum journaling and a new tab stamp coming next week for my date.
