Oh my goodness, when I saw this spread from Miss Sheree, the phrase that popped into my head was, beautiful is right! I mean, c’mon, that big bold title in my favorite color speaks to me in all the ways. loooooove this!

 

 

 

I love giant alphabet stamps so I knew I had to create a lovely big title when I saw the gorgeous Jordan Lower XL stamps!  I found an ink that matched the colours in my photo then stamped each letter onto white cardstock before fussy cutting each one out.  I like to do this with alphas because it helps to add an extra layer and texture to the project.

While I had my inks out I also stamped two labels from the new Little Bits stamp set and a half-flower from The Nature of Spring in the same orange colour, then stamped words and phrases from The Nature of Spring and the new Feeling Fallish stamp sets in black.  They were cut out too ready to use. 

Then it was time to put everything together!  On my full page photo I made a little cluster in the middle with the stamped flower and two labels.  I used some foam adhesive behind the flower word label to add a little dimension.  I also stitched across the bottom label.

I printed my journaling onto my white cardstock page, added a stitched border, then adhered the title down the left side of the page.  I stitched a row across the title, then added a stamped phrase from The Nature of Spring stamp set layered on top.  To finish the spread I added the date under the journaling with the Timetable stamp set then adhered the pages into my traveler’s notebook.  I love how this project turned out!
