Oh me oh my, do we have some exciting news. There’s a new team member ’round these parts!

But first, we need to say goodbye to our sweet friend, Maggie Massey. She’s been a part of KBS for quite some time and we will all miss her incredible talents sooo much. We wish her all the best! Love you Miss Maggie!

In the meantime, here is a little intro from Nancy along with THE most gorgeous spread using the new Headline JUMBO numbers. That calendar is simply divine!

Hi there, my name is Nancy Damiano and I live in central New Jersey with my husband and teenage son, Nico. I also have a niece and nephew who are my bonus kids. I’ve been scrapbooking for the past 20 years and I still love it! The art of photos + words is everything. I also love to travel (our favorites are Disney and Hawaii), I’m an avid reader and a budding yoga student.

 

 

 

 

The minute I spotted the Headline Numbers Jumbo stamps and Outline, I knew they would be perfect for a flip up Christmas calendar. I love the bold impact of these numbers and the outline adds a crafty touch.

I started by stamping the large numbers in red with the Headline Numbers Jumbo stamp set (using a slightly darker red for the Headline Outline JUMBO stamp) on white cardstock. I then added the month of December stamp from the Big Christmas Words stamp set just underneath in black ink, followed by “the night before Christmas” also in blank ink from the Tis the Season stamp set.

I made four of these 4×5 calendar pages with different dates – each one representing a story leading up to the 24th of December. The pages were bound with black cloth tape and finished with two silver brads to hold them together. Each of the dates has a subtitle from the Tis the Season stamp set that match the story for that date. 

I added a border of red snowflake washi tape and some journaling to complete the page. A small tag was stamped with “believe” from the Tis the Season stamp set and tied to a silver star embellishment.

The October release has so many beautiful options for this holiday season!
