Last year we decorated by mid-November. We opted for this to make our spirits bright with that year the entire world had been having. Luckily we did do it because one week later our year got even worse with hubs’ parents soon passing away within a month of each other.

For this year? We are doing the same, in part because our year continues to be so strange and I know what’s coming. My hopes for a calm holiday season–trying to break our crummy holiday cycle–are not coming to fruition. I can’t even believe that November is Monday! So maybe in the next week or so…up will go the tree because that’s all sorts of happiness right there…and who couldn’t use some merriment in their home? :)

 

 

I stamped and trimmed the 14 using Headline Numbers Jumbo and Headline Numbers Outline Jumbo so I could tuck the photo behind the number. I then made a little word collage using Oh Be Joyful, Big Christmas Words, Ho Ho Ho and Tis The Season and finished it off with a snowflake from Winter. I also added the NOV into the 14 with the A Little Time stamp set that’s coming in the November 1st release.
