This is an expression often said in our house. And now I’m saying it here. Look at this marvelous idea from Miss Nancy! That weaving is just fantastic! Loving her use of the stamps and everything with the whole page. sigh.

 

 

Documenting December is one of my favorite holiday craft projects. I wanted to document the first spot in our home that I decorate and the first thing you see when you come in the front door.

I started out with just a little bit of paper weaving (two rows to be exact) to add texture to the page. Next I stamped the long strips of paper at the bottom using the Ho Ho Ho stamp set. I love how delicate this font is.

To offset that, I created a bold title at the top (It’s the Happiest Season of All)  with the Season’s Greetings stamp with a tiny subtitle in green using the ‘Tis the Season stamp set.

I love the variety of sizes and boldness in these stamp sets. They are perfect for building titles and using words as an embellishment.
