It’s a brand new year.

I just can’t even begin to describe what this means. This time last year, 2021 had seemed so promising after the 2020 we had…and it didn’t work out too well. ;) We did have good times this past year and that’s what I want to remember from 2021, but there was also lots of emotion, exhaustion, unexpectedness and sadness too. I already know some of the hard stuff that 2022 has in store, but I am feeling rejuvenated at the prospect of what a brand new year can mean overall.

I’m hopeful for time.

I’m hopeful for gratitude.

I’m hopeful for love.

I’m hopeful for learning.

I’m just hopeful.

And I’ve already got some of that excitement that a new year brings with a little spin-off of Kerri Bradford Studio on Instagram.

It’s called @kerribradfordstudio_capture.

It’s a place where this photo-enthusiast gal (me) will be sharing tips on taking photos, using apps, gear, and creating challenges to increase all of our photo skills. I’ve been collecting ideas on this for two years…and this year, I’m making it happen! Long story short, after some posting and interactions on social media a couple weeks ago, I just went with it. And I am so excited!

So if you haven’t started following  kerribradfordstudio_capture, go do that now. I will be posting a chunk of the info here on my blog as well, but I always post more on Instagram. ;)

Now for the January stamps!

Once upon a time I was out and about and I saw this outlined number (like ’04’) that laid over the left side of some text, and I said to myself “I want that.” Lucky for me, I can make it happen. ;)

I thought it would be so cool to do a little journaling and have these open-number accents intermingling with it. I also thought they would be perfect for calendars and planners, which is why I made it easy by making stamps with numbers 01-31.

But then, in typical Kerri fashion (haha), I wanted bigger. I seriously thought about making them bigger as double digits for convenience sake, but then thought that in actuality, it’s probably silly. ;) So I made a set of Single Digits in XL and JUMBO so that you can keep a consistent look throughout a planner or in your documenting. The three sizes of Double Digits are SM, MED and LG.

 

 

And hello? That 3 and 4 are my favorite!

To continue on with the ‘date’ theme–because starting a new year is the perfect time for this–there are three new Simple Times stamp sets in SM, MED and LG.

A while back I’d shared some foam stamps that I made when doing Creating Keepsakes’ Kit of the Month. Gosh, those were so fun! So I thought I’d make some similar ones for my store.

And fun fact, the Double Digits and Simple Times look pretty awesome together! Same with Double Digits and A Little Time.

And last, but not least, there’s Bibliophile for the book lover in all of us. :)

That sums up this release. I’m looking forward to good things from 2022. This spark I have with photography has gotten me excited in the ‘creative department’ and that’s something I haven’t felt for a while. Happy times ahead. :)
