I love using my physical stamps just as much as the next stamper, but using the designs in digital format can be just as fun! I used the new Mine digitals for this layout in my Traveler’s Notebook.

I was able to cut the speech bubble to fit across my two 5×8.25″ background pages. Once I had the design cut, I backed the center heart shape with my photo. Then I cut down the center so I could attach both sides to the white background.

I thought it would be fun to add some texture to this layout since I was working with digitals, so I hand stitched around the heart and the outer edge of the speech bubble. I used some of the other designs from the set for my embellishments on the layout. The two different heart shapes were perfect for creating a cascade under my title. I just sampled colors from an image online and changed the color of the hearts in Photoshop. I also cut the XO phrase on my Cameo and placed it in a cluster on the left side of the layout.

You can boost the look of your digitals in three different ways: 1. Add machine or hand stitching, 2. Add dimension to your digitals with pop dots, and 3. Place your digitals in clusters with different types of textured embellishments like wood veneers or chipboard. I used all three of these techniques when I created my layout.
