It’s April and all sorts of nature is starting to show itself. Such a glorious and colorful time! It’s always an exciting time of anticipation to see what reveals itself next. And speaking of reveal, we have new stamps in the house!

I’m still in ‘minimal release’ mode due to things that have gone on here in my world (it’s calmer, however, this is from ‘back then’). But this release is just as fabulous as the rest!

 

 

So let’s talk about Neapolitan. I like to think of this as my chocolate, vanilla and strawberry alphabets with some toppings for extra fun. It’s what I call simply quirky. You can go for simple, quirky or simply quirky.

 

 

I tell you what, this set has been months in the making…dreaming…plotting…whatever you want to call it. I had this idea last summer of making one stamp set that included much of what you see here. Once I finally got into it and plotting out what would be a realistic set (there were four alphabets), I was just tickled pink at how it all came together…finally. ;) I’m glad to have this off my to-do list.

 

 

I wanted this quirky set of characters that would still have the overall feel of something very clean. The majority of letters are all 1/2″ in height. There are some that are a little bigger so you can take the standard look and make it stand out even more, like in the word coffee above. I don’t drink coffee–never even tasted it–but I couldn’t help but use those letters on an alpha like this! This example uses the Highlights stamp as the base too. So cool together!

 

 

And by using only a mix of the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry alphas, you can create some clean and creative text. Seriously, Neapolitan is the new black. It goes with everything.

 

 

And next we have Highlights. OMG, this is going to be lots of fun to use! If you have the La Grande alpha stamp and A Little Time, you can do some fun things like this. Note: La Grand is a special one-time restock for the March Comeback and there aren’t many left. Also works wonderfully with Double Digits MED.

Also, we did another comeback of the regular size of Denali alphabet and Denali Etc. (numbers). The numbers were supposed to be here, but didn’t make it in time. So if you order those now, we’ll hold on to your order until they come in. They’ll hopefully be here by the time we get back from CA.
