Wander far and wide is definitely my motto. Any chance to be outside, especially in nature, I am soooo there. I think that’s why I connect so much with Melissa…she wanders far and wide too. And not only do I love her photos, I love seeing her work her magic with them and the KBS stamps. This page is no exception. This is just fantastic!

She has a way…. :)

It seems like the shorter the trip, the more photos I take. Is it like that for you too? For that reason, I find myself making grid layouts often. This month’s KBS stamp release, is definitely one of my favorites…travel and adventure theme stamps just pull at my heartstrings. 

For this layout, I tried using as many stamps as I could fit. Most stamps, I stamped directly onto the base paper. For the embellishment I put together using the topographic map (on the right hand side of the layout), I stamped the map onto a scratch piece of paper and added the “wander without reason” sentiment, which I stamped on vellum and trimmed out, and stapled it to the map. I love that map piece so much. That sentiment on the large journal tag is perfect for the story about all the wildlife we saw on this hike, including being inches from a perfectly camouflaged rattle snake (it all ended peacefully). But looking left, looking right, looking everywhere (with extreme caution) is all we did to finish the rest of our hike.
