Yup, that would be today. And it’s also the theme of this bit of fun from Sheree. She always adds the most perfect details. sigh. Someday I will take out the sewing machine that I just unearthed in the basement and stitch something. ;)

The awesome new See the World and District Upper stamp sets were just what I needed to document our recent day trip into the city!

For my title I used the cool District Upper to stamp the letters for the word “Saturday” onto white cardstock then cut them out to use at the top of my page.  I then finished the title with the “In The City” stamp from See the World.

Under my journaling I layered three stamps together…the square city map, the car and the phrase “Exploring Day”.  Each one was stamped separately onto white cardstock, cut out and layered together on the page.

For the date I used the Timetable stamp set and the See the World distance stamp was adhered to the bottom.

I also added a stamped piece to the top of my full-page photo before finishing the spread with a whole lot of stitching.  I love how easily this spread came together using these fun new stamp sets!
