One of the beautiful things about the regular District Upper Outline alphabet stamp is the double letters on some of the more popular letters. I love having a stamp set with extra letters! Because then you can do fun things like this awesome background with one stamped word like Miss Nancy. I love the idea of a stamped background. The minute I saw the District Upper Outline, I knew it would be perfect in a traveler’s notebook. I stamped the word “summer” repeatedly to cover the entire page. I love that this stamp set includes doubles of the most used letters to make this technique a breeze. Those double M’s were perfect!
I used the bold “weekend” title from the very aptly named Weekend stamp set right on the background photo. The subtitle is also from the very same set. Minimal embellishments of tags, tucked in journaling and a single alpha letter finished this clean design.
