I would like to thank you all for your patience on our unusual celebration last week and the delay in shipping…and the lacking of the weekly freebies. If you missed my news on social media, my father passed away the first of last week. While he had been dealing with some more serious health issues in the past 18 months, it was still a surprise because there were several other times we thought it would be the end and he bounced right back to ‘normal’. ;) He was 87 and had been golfing up until before all the 2020 stuff, so he always seemed ‘young’. He will be missed.

The past 2 1/2 years have been pretty difficult in our neck of the woods, particularly with ailing parents needing care and eventually passing away and it seems it just keeps getting increasingly harder to feel motivated in my own business, especially with creativity. My mind instead wanders to visiting far-off lands and taking photographs, which is a form of creativity…but doesn’t necessarily help me out here. haha It’s probably just the way my brain is working to get away from it all. ;)

When all is said and done though, being uninspired is not what I need in my line of business. So it’s time to get back into the groove…however I can make that happen. ;)

For now, we have some gorgeous inspiration from Miss Ashley that was supposed to have been shared last week during our celebration. Diggin’ all the blocking going on here along with that open District Alpha Outline title!

 

 

One thing I love about the District Alpha stamps, is that you can use them together…the outline and the solid, or use them separately. For this layout in my Scrap It Notebook, I used the District Lower Outline to create a title for my page. I love the look of just the outline stamp! 

I also used the What a Trip stamp set for this layout. The phrases that are included with the stamp are perfect for making your own embellishments. I stamped three of the phrases onto white card stock so I could cut them out and layer them over my photos.

You can’t go wrong mixing and matching all of the stamp sets from the KBS shop!!
