Okay, so maybe it’s just the summer sunshine memories going in a pocket here, but gosh darn it, it makes me happy! The way Melissa has titled each photo with stamped Weekend sentiments, topped it with Open This stamped labels and put it into a pocket is simply fabulous! Plus, she’s used the District Numbers Jumbo on a kraft tag for the month of July. I swoon!

 

 

 

 

I started my project by printing out my photos. I printed the large 8’x4″ photo, on the right, and I knew exactly which stamp sentiments I wanted use on that photo. Both sentiments on the large photo are from the Weekend stamp set.  

On the left side, I printed a map of the area we were vacationing at and used that as my base page. I had too many photos for a grid, but not enough for a flip out, which would’ve made an extra page, and I didn’t have anything to fill it up with. I love the Open This stamp set so much, and I really wanted to use it, so I decided to stitch some vellum pockets onto my page, so I could add in pictures, tickets and and a journal tag. On the pictures in the pockets, I was able to stamp sentiments on them and then added tabs at the top of the pictures.

I really love how this layout turned out.
