I kind of miss our trick-or-treating days. Our neighborhood used to be filled with kids–including ours–and it was so fun to watch them come by in their costumes to get their treats. As the years of gone by, the kids are growing up and there’s just less and less. I miss it. Luckily we have a little one to trick or treat again. It’ll be something to look forward to.

In the meantime, I’ll live vicariously through you all when I see your pages using the new Boo set, like we have from Miss Ashley today. Her combination of the stamp set with Madeleine is just awesome!

(One little side note, the new stamps are over half gone and the savings on them ends today.)

 

 

It’s my most favorite time of the year…Halloween stamps release!! I always love what Kerri puts out for Halloween and this year’s Boo stamp set doesn’t disappoint. I used it to document our Halloween photos from last year. I thought it would be fun to layer each of the photos over a large tag and then leave room on each tag for stamping. This stamp set has some larger sentiments and also a lot of smaller word phrases. I used three of the larger sentiments on a few of the tags and love the way they look stamped in black ink. And, I couldn’t resist those cutie pumpkins, so I added them as embellishing on the last tag.

I used the Madeline smaller alpha stamp set for my title. This is the perfect alpha for Halloween!! I stamped out October 31st for my title, and to keep it straight, I placed a piece of washi tape along the bottom of my layout. This way, I was able to stamp out my letters and then just remove the washi tape when I was done.

I can’t wait to use these stamps on some other upcoming Halloween projects this year!!
