I’m back home now. No plans to go anywhere. (Of course I thought that the day after we got back from the redwoods. haha) And now I’m really starting to get that Christmas vibe, especially since it snowed a tiny bit yesterday. Mostly I’m just starting to panic about ideas for Christmas gifts. ;)

And then there are the Christmas cards to think of. Well, at least I have some beautiful ideas right here from Miss Sheree. Simple. Sweet. Spectacular. sigh.

I love using stamps to create Christmas cards and these new stamp sets made it so easy to put these together!

For the first card I used the 12/25 stamp from the Christmas is Here stamp set as the feature and added a cute stamped santa hat from the Iconic Christmas stamp set to the to top of the ‘2’.  I added some sparkle to the pom pom and trim using Stickles and added some stamped stars from the Joy stamp set which I embossed with gold embossing powder for a little more shine.  I finished off with a gold embossed “Christmas is Here” phrase from the Christmas is Here stamp set.

The second card was so much fun to create!  I stamped the baubles from Christmas Is Here in three different colours, then stamped the snowflake in the centre of the darker green bauble which I embossed in white.  The tops of the baubles were gold embossed and the baubles were added to the card with foam adhesive for dimension.  The “Joy” word from the Joy stamp set was also gold embossed and I added the phrase “all is bright” from the Iconic Christmas stamp set.
